Quit Smoking

Smoking is the most common drug addiction in the U.S. It is hard to stop smoking, but people do quit. More than 46 million Americans have quit smoking for good.

In the United States tobacco causes almost 1 in 5 deaths, killing more than 440,000 Americans each year. Smoking is the number one preventable cause of death in our society.

Because nicotine has an antidepressant effect, the use of antidepressants can be particularly helpful when quitting smoking. Using Zyban alone doubles the odds of successfully quitting.
